FIELD: automotive industry.SUBSTANCE: device contains a protection screen, fasteners and a driving mechanism. The protection screen comprises a mobile and a fixed squared armored plates installed parallel to each other with a gap and enclosed in a common frame. The armored plates are punched along the whole surface by viaholes. The protection screen by means of fasteners is mounted in front of front/lateral glass of a vehicle. The driving mechanism contains a crank arm, a connector, an electric motor and is powered from the vehicle onboard mains or from another independent source. The driving mechanism forces a mobile armored plate to move in front of the fixed armored plate along a circular trajectory. The viaholes in plates are implemented with a possibility of coincidence and discrepancy with a frequency above the threshold of sensitivity of human eye.EFFECT: improvement of driver safety against bullets of small arms, frags of ammunition and explosive devices.7 dwg
