<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiaxial fatigue life evaluation method enabling high-accuracy prediction of fatigue damage due to multiaxial loading. <P>SOLUTION: A multiaxial fatigue life evaluation method includes the steps of: obtaining a principal stress-strain surface that is a surface perpendicular to principal stress or principal strain at each time, on the basis of a stress or strain state at each time in a structure to be evaluated; calculating each perpendicular component value of the principal stress or principal strain at each time that acts on the principal stress-strain surface, with respect to the obtained principal stress-strain surface at each time; evaluating cumulative damage on each principal stress-strain surface on the basis of the calculated value and a preliminarily-obtained SN diagram at the time of uniaxial loading; and determining the principal stress-strain surface with damage evaluated as largest in the cumulative damage evaluation to be the principal stress-strain surface to be evaluated, and evaluating fatigue life. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
