<p>A cover is provided for a removable pressure vessel lid and the cover has a peripheral flange extending over the interface of the lid and pressure vessel to direct escaping pressurized fluid away from the operator in the event of a seal leak or residual pressure upon release of the lid fasteners. The fasteners such as swing bolts engage slots in the lid flange; and, flow shields are provided on the fasteners to redirect fluid escaping at the slots and about the fasteners.</p> |
