<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of correctly discriminating an actual touch input when a plurality of points are touch inputted. <P>SOLUTION: When an arithmetic circuit 10 detects touch inputs of a plurality of points, a touch panel applies a second voltage that is different from a first voltage that has been applied to detecting wirings 2 and 3 in the detection, to the detecting wirings 2 and 3 to re-detect the electrostatic capacitance by a capacitance detecting circuit 6.
