STATION AND METHOD OF CONNECTING THE ACCESS POINT AND THE STATION

A method for setting connection between an access point and a station is provided. A method comprises the steps of: transmitting, by a station management entity, to a MAC layer management entity included in the station, information about a reception condition for a communication setup message transmitted by the access point and information about a reporting timing of the communication setup message by the MAC layer management entity to the station management entity when the MAC layer management entity receives the communication setup message; and adjusting, by the MAC layer management entity, a transmission timing of the communication setup message to the station management entity according to information about a connection priority requirement included in the communication setup message received by the MAC layer management entity from the access point, and the information about the reporting timing, and transmitting the same.
