A vertical pendulum for planar laser is provided to make it easy to keep and use by an improved exterior shape of vertical pendulum, to simultaneously minimize shaking during measurement, to enable one person to easily check the target point by using laser beam regardless of a bad condition with an obstacle and the distance between the target point and the vertical pendulum, and to simultaneously increase workability, accuracy, and speed, by comprising: a weight system (10) with an accommodating space (14) formed vertically at the center for a top opening (12) and a passage to be connected and to have a penetrating hole (14a) at the bottom; a laser pointer (20) inserted into the accommodating space (14) through the top of the weight system (10) for a lens (22) at the bottom to be exposed through the penetrating hole (14a); a battery pack (30) fastened to the top surface of the weight system (10) that supplies or blocks power to the laser pointer (20); and a thread of a certain length (40) connected to the center of gravity of the top of the battery pack (30) that maintains the vertical status of the weight system (10). |
