<p>A cowl-top cover 16 is provided for a vehicle. A cover mounting portion 33 is provided along a direction from a longitudinal end of a cover main body portion (30 see fig 1a). This is inserted into and engaged with a receptacle portion 29, thereby mounting the cowl-top cover 16 to a vehicle body. For ease of mounting, a low rigidity portion (36 see fig 1a) is provided at one end part of the cover main body portion (30). The low rigidity portion is deformed so as to space the cover mounting portion 33 in a counter-insertion direction relative to the receptacle portion 19. The low rigidity portion (36) may be a distinct member which is flexible, may be formed from rubber and which sits in a cut out region (71 see fig 1a) of a cowl-top cover main body member (35 see fig 1a).</p> |
