A method comprising: in response to determining at a base station that a first data communication measure for a first data communication path between the base station, which is configured to provide wireless communication services to a plurality of communication devices, and a network, which provides data to the plurality of communication devices, fails to satisfy a first threshold: establishing, at the base station, a second data communication path between the base station and the network via a wireless access point based on an access control list; andreceiving, at the base station, a first data portion from the network via the second data communication path and a second data portion from the network via the first data communication path, wherein receipt of the first data portion satisfies a second data threshold of the second data communication path, wherein receipt of the second data portion satisfies the first threshold, and wherein the first data portion, the second data portion, or a combination thereof includes the data.
