1. A method comprising:
generating, by an access device, a modulated signal; determining, by the access device, that the modulated signal has a transmit frequency within a predefined frequency range that is adjacent to and within a boundary of an uplink frequency band; at least partially removing, by the access device based on the determination that the modulated signal has the transmit frequency within the predefined frequency range, a carrier frequency component from the modulated signal; transmitting, by the access device, the modulated signal subsequent to the carrier frequency component being at least partially removed from the modulated signal; generating, by the access device, an additional modulated signal; determining, by the access device, that the additional modulated signal has a transmit frequency outside the predefined frequency range; and transmitting, by the access device in response to the determination that the additional modulated signal has the transmit frequency outside the predefined frequency range and within the uplink frequency band, the additional modulated signal without first removing a carrier frequency component from the additional modulated signal.
