The present invention relates to a method for managing vehicle insurance in connection with a vehicle information collecting device mounted on a vehicle, the method comprising the steps of: collecting vehicle driving information including data corresponding to the kind of insurance bought by the user of a vehicle by initializing a vehicle information collecting device; calculating a safe driving index or an environmentally friendly driving index according to the kind of insurance bought by the user based on the vehicle driving information collected from the vehicle information collecting device; and managing the insurance bought by the user based on the calculated safe driving index or the calculated environmentally friendly driving index. |
