1. A system, comprising:
one or more processors; and a non-transitory computer-readable medium coupled to the one or more computers having instructions stored thereon which, when executed by the one or more computers, cause the one or more computers to perform operations comprising:
receiving a search query identifying a user that is providing the search query;providing a first set of search results for display based on the search query, wherein one or more of the search results is associated with a respective selectable claiming element;receiving user input of a selection of a particular claiming element associated with a particular search result of the one or more search results, the user input comprising a claim by the user that a resource associated with the particular search result is a personal profile of the user;in response to receiving the user input, comparing metadata associated with the personal profile with data associated with a search service user profile of the user that is associated with a search service providing the search results;based on the comparing, matching at least one datum of the metadata associated with the personal profile with a corresponding piece of datum of the data associated with the search service user profile to determine that the personal profile corresponding to the particular search result is associated with the user;in response to the matching, storing, in computer-readable memory, the user input as a factor associating the resource with the user;updating, using one or more processors, the first set of search results based on the factor to generate an updated set of search results, wherein one or more search results of the updated set of search results includes a respective indicator, the indicator indicating that the corresponding search result of the updated set of search results is associated with the user; andtransmitting the updated set of search results for display on a computing device associated with the user. |
