The structural element is formed from a basic element. The structural element may further include a holding means for holding a reinforcement rod. A method for constructing an auxiliary means and a method for manufacturing a reinforcement are also provided.

1. A system for manufacturing a reinforcement, the system comprising:
an auxiliary means comprising a plurality of structural elements releasably coupled together, each structural element comprising:
a body member comprising an upper surface having a plurality of first mounting points formed therein, a first side surface extending from a first edge of the upper surface, and a second side surface extending from a second edge of the upper surface; andat least one of a plurality of second mounting points and a plurality of coupling points formed in at least one of the first side surface and the second side surface; and at least one holding means mounted to at least one of the first or second mounting points, the at least one holding means comprising at least one first member and one second member defining a gap therebetween for receiving at least one reinforcement rod therein.
