According to an embodiment of the present invention, a sound information providing system for a vehicle comprises: a plurality of data collection units obtaining size and arrival time of sound generated around a vehicle; a data processing unit determining a generation area of the sound by using the obtained size and the arrival time of the sound; and a sound notification unit providing information about the generation area of the sound to a driver of the vehicle.
