The present invention relates to a method for cancelling the interference of a receiver and a transmitter for performing the same. When a user signal and an interference signal are received, the receiver detects the interference phase information of the received interference signal and the user phase information of the received user signal and feeds back the received information to the transmitter of the received user signal. When the user phase information and the interference phase information are received, the transmitter changes the received user phase information to be separated with a preset difference value with the received interference phase information and transmits another user signal with the changed user phase information. When another user signal and the interference signal are received, the receiver cancels the received interference signal by controlling the changed user phase information and the interference phase information. According to the present invention, in a communication system, the transmitter changes the phase information of the user signal in a complex space. Thereby, the receiver completely removes the interference signal.
