The present invention relates to a compound for blue phosphorescent host and an organic light-emitting diode comprising the same, wherein the compound for blue phosphorescent host adopts donor-acceptor-donor (D-A-D) structure to widen a bandgap, and more specifically has the parent structure of thioxanthene as a major part of the acceptor and combines carbazole and carboline as a part of the donors around an central atom corresponding to the solfon structure of the parent structure, thereby using amorphous and high molecular-weight materials having high triplet energy (ET) and high glass-transition temperature (Tg) to ensure a long lifetime and excellent electrical mobility and thermal stability.
