<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing apparatus capable of identifying specifications of four-pole plug inserted into a jack.SOLUTION: A signal processing apparatus 1 includes: a jack part 11 provided with a first contact T1 to be brought into contact with a contact part 100L for a first speaker, a second contact T2 to be brought into contact with a contact part 100R for a second speaker, a third contact T3 to be brought into contact with either one of a contact part 100M for a microphone and a contract part 100G for grounding, and a fourth contact T4 to be brought into contact with the another; a body part 10 for supplying a test signal to a plug 100 through a first passage or a second passage; a potential detection part 25 for detecting a potential at a node in common to the first passage and the second passage, when the test signal is supplied to the plug through the first passage or the test signal is supplied to the plug through the second passage; and a control circuit 21. The control circuit 21 determines specifications of the plug 100 on the basis of the potential detected by the potential detection part 25.</p> |
