<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tsunami evacuation guidance support system useful for crews of rolling stocks or station employees of railroad routes to safely evacuate passengers when a tsunami is expected to occur in association with an earthquake.SOLUTION: A tsunami evacuation guidance support system reads a simulation map corresponding to information about the seismic center, magnitude and a tsunami wave height of an earthquake having newly occurred and a hazard map of a local government, from a database storing simulation maps in which a plurality of tsunami inundation assumed ranges corresponding to assumed conditions of various seismic centers, magnitudes and tsunami wave heights are previously obtained by simulation, by a data processor; sets a map obtained by carrying out a logical sum of the tsunami inundation assumed ranges of the simulation map and the hazard map as the tsunami inundation assumed range; and transmits data in which the tsunami inundation assumed range is shown on a map to an information terminal device present within the tsunami inundation assumed range or in the vicinity thereof.</p> |
