<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cell cushioning material capable of effectively protecting an article from impact during transportation even when an article with an irregular shape having a projection part and the like is transported while being placed in a packing box.SOLUTION: An air cell cushioning material 1 comprises: an arcuate cushioning part 10 formed of substantially arcuate air cells 11; and a sheet-like cushioning part 20 made of a film for connecting both sides of the arcuate cushioning part 10. The arcuate cushioning part 10 is formed by arranging a plurality of air cells 11 side by side and bending the air cells 11 in an arcuate shape. The sheet-like cushioning part 20 is formed shorter than the arcuate cushioning part 10 and connected to the arcuate cushioning part 10. Thereby, at the time of filling air, both ends of the arcuate cushioning part 10 are pulled in a bending direction, tension in a longitudinal direction is generated in the arcuate cushioning part 10 and sheet-like cushioning part 20, and the air cell cushioning material 1 is formed in a substantially arch shape.</p> |
