APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TEST OF WATT-HOUR METER

An apparatus and a method for a test of a watt-hour meter is provided to improve the test procedure and to guarantee the accuracy when determining the propriety of the watt-hour meter, by comprising: a load input unit which provides a load value including one from among voltage, electric power, and phase to a pluraility of watt-hour meters; and a watt-hour meter testing unit which controls the communications between the watt-hour meters and the load input unit, and operates a process to conduct a test of a built-in virtual watt-hour meter and the watt-hour meter to determine the propriety of the watt-hour meter.
