PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire 22 in which low fitting pressure can be achieved without compromising fastening force.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire 22 comprises a pair of beads 30 and a carcass 32 bridged between both beads 30. Each bead 30 comprises a core 48. The core 48 comprises: a body 56 including a cord 60 extending in a circumferential direction; and a stretching part 58 made of a cross-linked rubber. In a shaft direction, the stretching part 58 is positioned on the inside of the body 56. In the cross section of the bead 30, the stretching part 58 has a size which can include at least one cross section of the cord 60. Preferably, in the tire 22, the body 56 comprises a hard unit and a soft unit. In a radial direction, the soft unit is positioned on the outside of the hard unit. A hard cord of the hard unit is more stretchable than a soft cord of the soft unit. |
