PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for locating a power transmission line lighting failure point capable of locating a failure point due to a lighting strike on the power transmission line even when the lighting strike occurs in the vicinity of a surge receiver and a lighting electromagnetic wave receiver.SOLUTION: A system V1 for locating a power transmission line lighting failure point is located at both ends of the power transmission line, and includes: surge receivers FL1, FL2 for detecting a reception time of the surge occurred on the power transmission line; a plurality of lighting electromagnetic wave receivers LLS1 to LLS3 for detecting a reception time of lighting electromagnetic wave emitted from the lighting strike; and a power transmission line lighting failure position locating device 1 for estimating the position of a steel tower on the power transmission line which is a generation source of the surge and an emission source of the lighting electromagnetic wave based on a predetermined coefficient based on the reception time of the surge received from surge receivers FL1, FL2 and at least one of the lighting electromagnetic wave receivers LLS1 to LLS3. |
