<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized solenoid valve capable of preventing contamination from entering into a movable portion of the solenoid valve.SOLUTION: This solenoid valve comprises a plunger 7 having a magnetic body part 71, and arranged to be movable along its center axis in an upward or downward direction inside of a coil 52 in its radial direction so as to cause a valve 33 to be changed over to open or close as its motion; a core 6 of the magnetic body; a cover 2 covering the coil from outside in the radial direction; a ring-like magnet 9 constituting a magnetic circuit among the core, plunger, and cover; and a spring 8 for pressing the plunger relatively against the core in a direction repelling against a force where the magnetic body part of the plunger is magnetically attracted against the core under influence of a magnetic field of the magnet. The magnetic body part has a portion oppositely facing against the core in an axial direction through a clearance, and a clearance in the radial direction between a cylindrical part 62 and the plunger is made narrower than the clearance in the axial direction between the magnetic body part and the core.</p> |
