PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-reflection film having anti-reflection characteristics which is superior in terms of a wavelength property and incident angle property.SOLUTION: An anti-reflection film comprises first through seventh layers having refractive indexes of N-Nand thicknesses of D-D, respectively, and an eighth layer which is a concavo-convex structure having an average pitch of 400 nm or less, a refractive index that continuously changes from Nto 1.0, and a layer thickness of D, laminated in order from a side of an optical substrate having a refractive index of Nfor an incident wavelength of 550 nm. The anti-reflection film satisfies the following expressions: 1.40≤N≤2.20, 1.90≤N≤2.40, 5.0≤D≤45.0 nm, 1.36≤N≤1.58, 3.0≤D≤80.0 nm, 1.90≤N≤2.40, 15.0≤D≤165.0 nm, 1.36≤N≤1.58, 11.0≤D≤58.0 nm, 1.90≤N≤2.40, 13.0≤D≤38.0 nm, 1.36≤N≤1.58, 9.0≤D≤75.0 nm, 1.35≤N≤1.65, 22.0≤D≤60.0 nm, 1.35≤N≤1.65, and 180.0≤D≤350.0 nm. |
