PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate translation difficulty when performing machine translation.SOLUTION: A text analysis unit 21 performs text analysis of an input text. A translation model score estimation unit 23 retrieves pairs corresponding to a phrase about each phrase included in the input text from a translation phrase table by using the analysis result of the input text, and out of the retrieved pairs, a statistic amount is calculated regarding the phrase of the pair in which phrase reliability is lower than a predetermined threshold value and the phrase for which the pair is not retrieved, a translation model score is calculated, and the calculated translation model score is output as translation difficulty. |
