<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool holder capable of ensuring the machining portion length of a machining tool, while suppressing the amount of projecting forward from a front end portion of a rotary spindle.SOLUTION: A tool holder 1 is installed in a fixed hole 51 fixed on a rotary spindle 50 of a machine tool, and supported by a key groove 53 provided on the rotary spindle 50. The tool holder 1 is equipped with a holder body 10 which has a shank portion 11 inserted in the fixed hole 51 at a rear part, and a tool hole 12 to which a machining tool 20 is attached at an axial center position of a front part; and a drive key 15 provided so as to project out in a radial direction from an outer peripheral portion of the front part of the holder body 10 to engage with the key groove 53 of the rotary spindle 50.</p> |
