PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an input impedance of a terminal for inputting a frequency control signal.SOLUTION: An oscillator includes: an oscillation section 1 for outputting a variable frequency oscillation signal; an input section 20 having a source follower circuit for generating a control voltage depending on a voltage of an input control signal; a voltage conversion section 30 for converting the control voltage to a frequency control voltage to be input into the oscillation section 1; and a control section 3 for inputting into the voltage conversion section 30 a conversion rate control signal to control a conversion rate that is a variation in the frequency control voltage relative to a variation in the control voltage.
