<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly evaluate a direction of deformation of a visual field when an observer wears spectacle lenses.SOLUTION: A spectacle lens evaluation method is to evaluate the performance of a spectacle lens 1 by using information on a direction of deformation of the shape of an object, which is virtually arranged on an object side of a spectacle lens 1 and has a predetermined shape, when the shape of the object is seen deformed by the spectacle lens 1, and a reference direction, which is a reference of a direction of the deformation, is defined to be a direction parallel to the horizontal plane irrespective of the position of the object.</p> |
