PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of making information of spine, etc. of a book or the like easier to see and easier to retrieve by, for example, combining a book end against which the book, etc. is leaned with an LED plate, in related to the lighting device utilizing technical characteristics of the LED plate.SOLUTION: A book end 1 is constituted with a main body 3 and a leg 5 substantially into an L shape, a main body 3 of a book end 1 is provided with a circular arcuate edge W1 as lateral edge, a longitudinal edge W2 and a depth edge W3, and a light source part 7 arranged along the longitudinal edge W2 and adjacently to the circular arcuate edge W1 is provided on the lateral surface 30 constituted with the longitudinal edge W2 and the depth edge W3. Such a light source part 7 is arranged on a position X where the light source part 7 intersects a back face B1 constituted with the transverse edge W1 and the longitudinal edge W2 of books B, and so as to face the back face B1 when the books B are arranged side by side substantially in parallel to the lateral surface 30. |
