PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rapid and inexpensive probe production method, a probe set, and a phenotype determining gene detection method.SOLUTION: The probe production method of the invention is a production method of a probe which specifically detects a specific phenotype determining gene from a phenotype determining gene group having a diversity of a base sequence, comprising a fragment setting step of plurally setting a fragment set comprising a fragment A in the specific phenotype determining gene and a fragment B corresponding to the fragment A concerned in other phenotype determining genes on the basis of the known sequence information on the phenotype determining gene group; and a probe selection step of selecting the fragment set of a probe candidate from the two or more fragment sets using Tm value of the fragment A and the fragment B. |
