<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To announce a possibility, when editing and transmitting a received mail, that an address causing erroneous transmission is included in destinations due to an organizational change such as a change in belonging, retirement, etc.SOLUTION: Announcement is made when the final update date for belonging of a user corresponding to the address of a destination for mail to be transmitted is on or after the day when mail is received at the source of reply or transfer or when the account of the user is nonexistent in a personnel database. A possibility that an address causing erroneous transmission is included in destinations due to an organizational change such as a change in belonging, retirement, etc., can thereby be announced when editing a received mail and transmitting the edited mail. Therefore, the user performs, upon determining that the announced address causes erroneous transmission, an operation to delete the address from the destinations to which the mail is to be transmitted, so that erroneous transmission of mail can be prevented.</p> |
