METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PLATE-LIKE BUILDING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a plate-like building material that can improve manufacturing efficiency although a decorative sheet can be stuck in series on a top surface and at least top surface-side regions of four peripheral side end faces.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of manufacturing a plate-like building material 1 by sticking a decorative sheet 2 on a top surface 11. The method includes: a recessed groove forming process of providing recessed groove parts 14, 17 constituting top surface-side regions 15, 18 of both side end faces in one direction of the plate-like building material such that the top surface-side regions extend in the other direction orthogonal to the one direction over the whole in the other direction on a top surface side of a base material 10 made larger in the one direction than the size of the plate-like building material in the one direction; a first sticking process of sticking the decorative sheet in series on the top surface of the base material and at least top surface-side regions 12, 13 of both the side end faces in the other direction so as to cover the recessed groove parts; an end face processing process of carrying out processing such that the regions 3, 6, covering the recessed groove parts, of the decorative sheet are left and reverse surface-side regions of both the side end faces in the one direction are formed; and a second sticking process of sticking the regions, covering the recessed groove parts, of the decorative sheet on at least the top surface-side regions of both the side end faces in the one direction.
