<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve exhaust emission control performance in idle operation and reduce noise in start acceleration.SOLUTION: An engine 10 with two ignition plugs 12A, 12B per cylinder 11 includes: sensors (crank angle sensor 25 and throttle opening sensor 22) for detecting a signal for determining an idle operation condition of the engine 10; and an ignition control unit 23 for determining the idle operation condition of the engine 10 on the basis of a signal from the sensors, igniting the two ignition plugs 12A, 12B simultaneously in the idle operation condition, and controlling so as to ignite one of the ignition plugs 12A, 12B in a condition other than an idle operation.</p> |
