PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a displacement guage and a material testing machine having improved a detection accuracy of a displacement of a test piece by maintaining a leverage constant.SOLUTION: A lever member 47 is swingable with a fulcrum O which is a shaft center of a shaft 46 as a center. This lever member 47 is provided with a projection member at a position which becomes a point of action and a force point. The lever member 47 is arranged with a contact member 61 fitted with a sphere 62 being a projection member at a tip end of a support cylinder 63 formed with a male thread groove on the outer periphery. The contact member 61 is arranged on the lever member 47 so that the center of the sphere 62 in contact with an iron core of a displacement detection part and the center of the sphere 62 in contact with a flat surface 59 of a lower arm 52 are on the same straight line 60. |
