PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an up-drawing casting apparatus capable of drawing up molten metal at a high rate.SOLUTION: An up-drawing casting apparatus (1, 2, 3, 4) includes: a holding furnace (33); a drawing unit (30) drawing up at least partial molten metal (M2) of molten metal (M1); a shape determination member (31) determining a sectional shape of casting (M3); a plurality of nozzles (10, 20) spraying a fluid to an outer surface of casting (M3) obtained by solidifying the drawn-up held molten metal (M2); and a shield plate (21, 22). The nozzles (10, 20) are arranged in line in a drawing direction in which the molten metal (M2) drawn up. The shield plate (21, 22) is arranged between the nozzle (10, 20) closest to the molten metal (M2) and the held molten metal (M2), shields the fluid sprayed by the closest nozzle (10, 20) to the molten metal (M2), and is inclined so as to incline upward a flow direction of the fluid. |
