<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of detecting abnormality of relays that enables the detection of abnormality of a relay permission signal or relays in a short time and the acquisition of a current sensor offset value.SOLUTION: When an operation to detect abnormality of relays 4 is started, a battery ECU 9 turns off a signal of a relay permission signal line 11. Subsequently, the battery ECU 9 acquires a voltage value of a voltage sensor 8, and when the voltage value is zero, determines that the relay permission signal line 11 is normal. Simultaneously with this operation to acquire the voltage value of the voltage sensor 8, the battery ECU 9 turns on an offset value acquiring signal and measures offset current values of current sensors 5. After the lapse of time when the acquisition of the offset current is completed, the battery ECU 9 turns off the offset value acquiring a signal. When the battery ECU 9 confirms the turn-off of the offset value acquiring a signal, turns on the signal of the relay permission signal line 11, which turns on the relays 4.</p> |
