<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shredder capable of performing repairs or maintenance conveniently and promptly.SOLUTION: A shredder comprises: prisms 13 or a plurality of erected members erected along an outer edge, as seen in a top plan view; a shelf board 14 as an election member erected between the prisms; a shredding mechanism 3 supported by the shelf board for shredding a shredding object inserted from the outer side, by a shredding blade; a faceplate 2 or a shield plate attached to said prisms for shielding said shredding mechanism from the outside; and a shield plate mounting/de-mounting mechanism for attaching said faceplate removably on said prisms so as to access to said shelf board from in at least two directions in the horizontal direction.</p> |
