PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress saturation or reduction in motor torque during engine start in a hybrid vehicle.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle has a control apparatus for computing a required-drive force change rate with which required-drive force reaches an upper limit value of motor torque when engine start is completed, and starting the engine when the required-drive force change rate reaches a given threshold or lower. During the engine start, an increase rate of the drive force is limited with the threshold. |
