<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method of an electrophoresis apparatus capable of performing high quality display.SOLUTION: An electrophoresis apparatus 150 comprises: a storage circuit storing first data or second data; a second potential recovery circuit 28; a pixel electrode 22; a common electrode 23; and an electrophoretic material 24. When a potential (second potential) corresponding to the second data is supplied to the pixel electrode 22 and, subsequently, a pixel potential Vchanges from the second potential to a reference potential V, the second potential recovery circuit 28 causes the pixel potential Vto recovery to the second potential. First particles and second particles are efficiently separated. Consequently, the electrophoresis apparatus 150 having a high contrast ratio and exhibiting high image quality is realized.</p> |
