This invention is the improvement of an oar/paddle by having two hinged swinging blades connected in two separate compartments in the paddle's framework. This new propelling system do not have the feathering cycle motion because the paddler do not pull out from the water, the whole paddle on the return cycle, therefor eliminating physical stress and fatigue. The new propelling device is done below the water level at all time, with the open and closing hinged swinging blades on the framework on every cycle. The two hinged swinging blades fastened to the upper or side portion of the framework by hinges joins the upper side of the blade's surface in their respective compartment. On the push motion, the blades are free to swing up vertically to a horizontal position to ~ 90 degree, parallel to the water level. The oar/paddle can be attached or welded anywhere around the water vehicle to satisfy the transportation needs. The swinging blades can be locked.
|
