PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately correct a temperature drift generated at a detection signal of in-cylinder pressure even if after a fuel cut.SOLUTION: An ECU 40 acquires a precondition index A and a post-condition index B having correlations with a temperature of an engine 10 at two points of timing corresponding to that before a furthermore cut and that after the fuel cut. The ECU calculates an estimated temperature drift amount &Dgr;Pbefore of a detection signal of an in-cylinder pressure sensor 36 on the basis of the precondition index A and the post-condition index B. Furthermore, the ECU calculates an estimated error amount &Dgr;Pcycle(i) at each crank angle on the basis of an engine rotation number NE and the estimated temperature drift amount &Dgr;Pbefore, and corrects actual measurement in-cylinder pressure Preal(i) on the basis of the calculated estimated error amount &Dgr;Pcycle(i). By this constitution, even if after the fuel cut, true in-cylinder pressure Ptrue(i) in which an error caused by a temperature drift is removed can be stably detected. |
