PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability when remote-controlling a plurality of imaging apparatuses by a single operation terminal.SOLUTION: In a step S101, imaging apparatuses 11 notify information indicating the own presence to an information processing unit 51. In a step S133, on the basis of a notice from the imaging apparatuses 11, the information processing unit 51 registers in management information the number of imaging apparatuses 11 to be controlled. In a case where a command is input in a step S134, the information processing unit 51 determines on the basis of the management information whether the number of the imaging apparatus 11 to be controlled can be synchronously operated or not, in a step S135. If they can synchronously be operated, a synchronous operation command is transmitted to the imaging apparatuses 11 in a step S136. In a step S104, the imaging apparatuses 11 execute the command, i.e., the synchronous operation command. In a step S105, a response notifying completion to the information processing unit 51. This technique can be applied in an imaging system. |
