<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an up-drawing casting apparatus capable of performing casting while suppressing generation of strains of a shape determination member.SOLUTION: An up-drawing casting apparatus (20, 30) includes: a holding furnace (21); a drawing unit (ST); a shape determination member (22); and a cooling-medium feeder (29). The drawing unit (ST) draws up molten metal (M2) from a molten metal surface of molten metal. The shape determination member (22) is installed near the molten metal surface, and determines a sectional shape of a casting (M3) to be cast by applying an external force to held molten metal (M2) that is unsolidified molten metal drawn up by the drawing unit (ST). The cooling medium feeder (29) feeds a cooling medium. The shape determination member (22) includes a channel through which the cooling medium can pass. The cooling-medium feeder (29) flows the cooling medium in the channel.</p> |
