PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging system of a solid state battery capable of achieving both increasing the rapid charging capacity of an on-vehicle solid state battery and reducing the influence of confining pressure on the solid state battery.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a charging system of a solid state battery loaded on a vehicle, which includes: a charging unit for charging the solid state battery; a pressurizing unit for applying confining pressure to the solid state battery; and a pressure control unit for controlling the confining pressure. The pressure control unit instructs the charging unit so that the confining pressure during charging becomes higher than that during discharging.
