PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress computational complexity of a model prediction control problem in a model prediction control device, a model prediction control method, and a program.SOLUTION: A model prediction control device for a system driving a motor by electricity generated by an engine, and storing electricity that is not used for driving the motor by charging a rechargeable battery with the electricity, includes: charge-discharge planning means establishing a charge-discharge plan P(k) which includes an over-charge restriction in response to an over-charge level and an over-discharge restriction in response to an over-discharge level and that realizes minimum fuel consumption for a fixed period, on the basis of target power P, a rotational speed Pof the motor, and a state SoC of the rechargeable battery; and engine power generation planning means establishing an engine power generation plan P(k) on the basis of the charge-discharge plan P(k) and the target power P, and supplying the engine power generation plan P(k) to the engine. |
