<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine fuel supply device and an engine operation method capable of effectively curbing a decline in engine performance due to use of fuel including biomass ethanol.SOLUTION: A fuel supply device of an engine 1 comprises: a main fuel tank 52 which stores ethanol fuel based on biomass ethanol; a sub-fuel tank 54 which stores gasoline fuel based on gasoline; and a carburetor 60. The carburetor 60 supplies the engine 1, regardless of a temperature state thereof, with: mixed gas of the gasoline fuel in the sub-fuel tank 54 and air when starting up the engine 1 and during a predetermined period after a start-up of the engine 1; and the mixed gas of the ethanol fuel in the main fuel tank 52, instead of the gasoline fuel, and the air after a lapse of the predetermined period.</p> |
