<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of successfully discharging sludge by using a simple configuration that is not affected by the sludge.SOLUTION: A water supply and drainage system 1 for a cooling tower includes: a water tank 10 for storing cooling water; and drainage piping 40 for discharging cooling water within the water tank 10. The drainage piping 40 includes: a first fixation portion 41 to which the cooling water in the water tank 10 flows in; and a movable portion 43 communicated with the first fixation portion 41. One end of the first fixation portion 41 is connected to the lowest portion of the water tank 10, and the fixation portion 41 has a gradient so that the cooling water flows from the one end to the other end. One end of the movable portion 43 is connected to the other end of the fixation portion 41, and the other end of the movable portion 43 is opened. The movable portion 43 can be switched between a first posture in which the other end of the movable portion 43 is disposed at a position higher than a water level of the cooling water within the water tank 10 and flowing of the cooling water is restricted and a second posture in which the other end of the movable portion 43 is disposed at the lowest position of the movable portion 43 and the cooling water is discharged from the other end.</p> |
