<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively detect a face area from image data generated from a first camera and image data generated from a second camera, without increase in the resources of face detection means for detecting a face area from an image.SOLUTION: An image processing system comprises detection means for detecting a face area from first image data captured by the first camera and second image data captured by the second camera. In accordance with the detection result of the face area in the first image data and the detection result of the face area in the second image data, the detection means sets a ratio of subsequently performing the detection processing of the face area on the first image data and a ratio of subsequently performing the detection processing of the face area on the second image data.</p> |
