PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light diffusion member that can block high-energy visible light emitted from a liquid crystal display device and has superior visual angle characteristics, and a display device with the light diffusion member.SOLUTION: A light diffusion member 15 includes a support base material 20, a base material 22 which is laminated on one surface 20a of the support base material 20 with an adhesive layer 21 interposed and has light transmissivity, a light shield layer 23 which is formed on one surface 22a of the base material 22, and a light diffusion part 24 which is formed on the one surface 22a of the base material 22 in a region other than the formation region of the light shield layer 23. At least one of the support base material 20, the adhesive layer 21, and the light diffusion part 24 is provided with a layer which reduces the amount of transmission of light of 495 nm or lower in wavelength or a layer which adjoins the at least one of the support base material 20, the adhesive layer 21, and the light diffusion part 24 and reduces the amount of transmission of the light of 495 nm or lower in wavelength. |
