PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of components of a circuit capable of making steep the rising edge of a square-wave-shaped drive current supplied to a switched reluctance motor.SOLUTION: A power conversion device, which includes switching elements and converts power outputted from a DC power supply to supply the converted power to a coil of a switched reluctance motor, includes: a capacitor having one end connected to a plus side of the DC power supply; a first switching element that is one of the switching elements provided between the other end of the capacitor and one end of the coil; a second switching element that is the other of the switching elements provided between the other end of the coil and a minus side of the DC power supply; a first diode having an anode terminal connected to the plus side of the DC power supply and a cathode terminal connected to the one end of the coil; and a second diode having an anode terminal connected to the other end of the coil and a cathode terminal connected to the other end of the capacitor. |
