<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide powder for powder-compact magnetic cores which satisfies the requirement of achieving all of a high strength, a high specific resistance and a high magnetic flux density.SOLUTION: Powder for powder-compact magnetic cores comprises at least magnetic particles, a first insulator layer 14 including a first silicone resin and covering each magnetic particle, and a second insulator layer 15 including a second silicone resin and coating the surface of the first insulator layer 14. The second silicone resin includes, as a side chain, a methyl group, and a vinyl group to cause a hydrosilylation reaction with hydrosilane. The vinyl group accounts for 10-30% of all of side chains of the second silicone resin, and the methyl group accounts for 20-50% of all of the side chains. The first silicone resin includes organopolysiloxane as a primary component. The organopolysiloxane satisfies the following condition as to the ratio of numbers of silicon-containing bond units represented by T2 and T3 respectively: T3/(T2+T3)≥0.55.</p> |
